If you have ever used a fog machine in your haunt, you have probably experienced the high floating fog that tends to hang a little too thick. To get the effect of eerie, ground creeping fog, you must cool the fog to keep it down. Here's how I did it...


Using an old Coleman cooler, I cut a hole in each end, and attached metal duct pipe into one hole. Using duct elbows, I ran the pipe back up to the top of the cooler, where the fog machine is mounted.


Inside the cooler, I placed a small block of dry ice to cool the fog, and mounted a small electric fan to push the fog out the second hole. I then attached a 5' length of plastic dryer exhaust hose, which could be used to direct the fog where needed.
